Shop Original Artwork
Hello there, friends!
If this is your first visit to my art shop, welcome! My name is Katie! I am an artist based in the Pacific Northwest, practicing animal advocacy through mindful fine artistry across a range of media: watercolor and acrylic painting, pottery, and more!
My artistic style is inspired by artists like Brook Cormier, Jacub Gagnon, Lisa Ericson, Marcel Witte and David Ambarzumjan, blending the notion that realism & surrealism can magically elevate animals and their environments to inspire a wonder in conservation.
Being able to change even one animal’s life for the better would mean the world to them. Follow along on my socials and check out my blog to find out how you, too, can make a difference!
The calendar on my homepage will hold drop dates for prints and chances to meet me in person, any prints will be located here in my retail shop when they are available, and new original pieces will be available below!
I do offer commissions here as well if you are interested in booking projects with me!
Down below, you will find what I currently have in stock!
My artist process…
The reason why I create and work with my hands…
Thank you so much for stopping by! I have always thought of art as a sort of looking glass into a world the artist makes. Additionally, I have always enjoyed seeing and learning about art history, where and how art has been expressed through the ages. I have found the art that inspires movements to be the most captivating!
I am an advocate for animals and have always believed they serve a greater purpose than we are lead to believe. I want to use my craft as a means of expression and to help speak life into the movement to help rid the world of animal neglect. I want to be the kind of artist and creator who makes positive waves in the face of senseless animal cruelty.
We share this world with animals who have a right to live and die in their time just as much, if not more, than the human race. We owe them support, not condemnation, for their continued generational exploitation. I hope my craft reflects my passion and determination to make people see that we can rally against the status quo, for animals are not designed for human exploitation and do not deserve such blatent neglect.
I know that it is an impossible task to expect neglect in animal welfare to vanish completely but I want to show my audience that animals deserve more support because we have the power to give it. I do hope to help inspire movement in the right direction for animals everywhere, and that is enough for me.
